Q626 heads East with the last pure SD40 left on CSX (and quite possibly the last one left on any of the six big class ones) on the point in its new paint.

I was fortunate enough to catch CSX 4617 nearby laying over for the weekend.

The last C&O painted CSX locomotive sports a new YN3 paint scheme at Lithonia, GA in the company of an SD50, complete with pimp-light.

CSXT 4617 is the last unit to still carry the C&O paint on its long hood. This unit is only is only on the wsor for a few days while the next csxt ballast train is being loaded.
